This is a very long walkthrough on how to make a truecrypt hidden operating system. You must be following the steps carefully or you may screw up your installation and you will have to start over. Before starting , please ensure that you are backing up all your important data because this will erase the content of your hard drive and will make all files not recoverable. Don't get discourage if it does not work the fist time, I spent days trying to figure this out. Practice makes perfect :->    Let's start

STEP 1
( partition your hard drive )
Insert your Windows DVD and boot your computer. When the windows screen comes up, you will click on install.





Now Delete the existing partition. (  Once again, make sure your data has been saved to an external hard drive )
Now we want to create 2 partitions ( I created a 82 gb and 110 gb )





STEP 2
( Inatall Windows to the smallest partition )
 




STEP 3
( Activate Windows ) This is important , don't skip this step.



STEP 4
( Download Truecrypt and install it )

STEP 5
( Start truecrypt )


STEP 6
( Creating a hidden operating system )
select create hidden operating system from the system tab 















If it asks you to reboot, just do it. And repeat step #  6



































This is the password that you can not reveal, make it a strong password.











Step 7 (  Cloning the hidden operating system )
Now the operating system you just created will be cloned to the hidden volume.















Step 8
( Wiping the content of partition 1 )  
Now the operating system that was installed on  the 82Gb partition has been moved to the 108 Gb partition.
You are now wiping the content of the 82 Gb partition.  









Step 9
Now You have to Install you Decoy operating system that you will install on the 82 Gb partition ( again )
Once you are finished installing windows, activate Windows and install truecrypt.
Once installed, open the program and select encrypt system partition drive.












This will be the password to your decoy operating system that you can reveal.


Step 10
Create a truecrypt boot loader rescue disk and burn it to a cd.












After rebooting your computer, you will be prompt with the truecrypt boot loader. Enter the password of the DECOY ( the one you just created )





Go Get a coffee, This will take awhile.

















Now when you are booting your computer, you can enter the decoy passord  or the hidden operating system password and the appropriate operating system will boot.
Note :   - when booting your Decoy, you can mount your hidden operating system by selecting a drive lettter. You then have to click on select device and pick the 108 Gb partition. You then click auto mount and enter the password of the hidden operating system and you will be able to copy files to or from that system.



Note : - When booting to the hidden operating system, it is mounting all external devices such as usb drive as read only. You won't be able to modify the data.
